Do you offer onsite parking? Yes! Our private, gated parking lot provides 165 parking spaces. Separate overflow and vendor parking is available. Valet parking is available upon request.

Does the venue come with tables and chairs? Yes! We include up to 40 – 72” round dining tables (linen not included) and up to 400 clear lucite chairs.

What is the meaning behind the name “The Geraghty”? Noted event designer Tom Kehoe, honors the lifetime of inspiration from his mother, Mickey Geraghty Kehoe, by naming The Geraghty in her memory. A visionary and welcoming hostess, Mickey knew how to create an event to remember.

Where are you located? The Geraghty is located at 2520 S. Hoyne Avenue Chicago, Illinois, 60608. We are proud to be a part of the Pilsen neighborhood, bustling with culture and art, and named one of the Top 12 Coolest Neighborhoods in the World by FORBES.

Do you have exclusive event, production partners? The Geraghty is a Kehoe Designs event venue. When booking The Geraghty, you will be partnered with an Event Designer at Kehoe Designs and a Technical Producer at BlackOak Technical Productions. For more than 25 years, KEHOE DESIGNS has been synonymous with exceptional events and refined taste. Every experience designed to captivate guests by a team of accomplished designers.

What is the required deposit, and is it refundable?
A deposit of 50% of the estimated event total and a signed contract are required to secure the event space and date. The deposit is non-refundable.

Who will I work with from The Geraghty? A dedicated Sales Manager will work directly with you and your vendors leading up to the event. We do strongly recommend that you secure a wedding/event planner. A Venue Manager and Security will be onsite during the event.

Can I bring in my own alcohol? The Geraghty is not a BYOB venue. The Geraghty maintains a liquor license, and the spirits, wine, and beer for your event are purchased from The Geraghty. The caterer provides the bar service, including bartenders, glassware, mixers, garnish, etc.

My organization is 501C3, and alcohol is donated for our event. Is that okay? The Geraghty allows for charitable donations of alcohol for nonprofit organizations with a current 501c3 or 501c4 only. All contributions must be provided by a licensed distributor and delivered to The Geraghty with an accurate invoice. A corkage fee applies to all beverage donations.

Do you have any outdoor space? With views of the Chicago skyline, our parking lot can be transformed into an outdoor event space.

Do you allow candles with real flame? Yes! We love the romantic and moody atmosphere that candlelight can create! The flame will need to be enclosed in a vessel (vase, votive, etc.)

Do I need to provide insurance? Event insurance is required and must be submitted two weeks before the event date.

What is the latest time the event can go until? 2:00 am
